Article: Automatically Send Invitation when Contact Information Received from External Source & Manage RSVPs.
JQ Lee
Business Problem:
Business has to manually add contacts to a Google Sheet > Send Invites to contacts using Message Templates on the platform > Manually track responses (acceptance/rejection of invitation), and update RSVPs on the Google Sheet.
Pain Points:
The manual process is time consuming and error prone.
Context:
The business is using respond.io platform to send out invitations (using template message) to their contacts and managing the RSVPs manually on a google sheet, i.e., customer updates the google sheet manually based on the responses they get from the contact. The process of updating the google sheet with RSVPs needs to be automated.

Stage: Automate
Objective: Automate Transaction > Appointment Booking
Proposed Solution (s):
Solution 1: This is a manual approach which will still require the business’s input for bulk data:
- Collect Contact information on Google Form > Generate Gsheet list > Import List to Platform > Send Invite as a Broadcast Message to Contacts > Setup workflow to handle broadcast replies then generate a google sheet list (we can add rows, no edit)
Solution 2: This is a more automated approach:
- Collect Contact Information on Google Form > Add Gsheet row > Zapier/Make.com > Create Contact > Send Template Message > Setup workflow to handle broadcast replies then generate a google sheet list (we can add rows, no edit)
