Business problem:
Manually copying and pasting incoming foreign language messages into a translator (e.g. Google Translate) to understand the language of the contact is time-consuming and inefficient.
Desired outcome:
It would be beneficial if the incoming messages could be easily translated to the user's preferred language within the messages module.

One sugestion, Zy:
- Once respond io translates the message, it will set the language that is spoken on the prospector's profile.
- Each customer service person can setup what is the preferred language that respond io will translates the incoming messages to.

Hi Isaac Meneses, thanks for the feedback. I do need clarification on the first suggestion "it will set the language that is spoken on the prospector's profile". Are you suggesting that the contact's language should be updated based on the language of the incoming message?
For the second suggestion, it aligns with our plan for every user to select the language they want incoming messages to be translated to. 🙌

Zy: I work for an insurance agency, our customers speaks portuguese, spanish and english. Same for our agents, some agents speak portuguese, other ones speak spanish but all of them speak english. So, if an agent called Jose that speaks spanish helps a prospector that speaks portuguese, the prefered input translated language for Jose would be spanish.
Anoter suggestion: if possible, this feature could detect the prospector's language and auto translate what Jose wrote in spanish to the language of the prospector which in this case would be portuguese

Isaac Meneses: Thanks for the explanation. The issue I noticed with your suggestion is what happens if the contact/prospector gets assigned to another agent who speaks a different language. Anyways, we will take your suggestion into consideration when developing the feature.
