This was long-awaited! We have improved our Contact Import process for this use case and more! When you upload a CSV file for import, choose your desired action:
- Add New Contacts Only: Adds only new Contacts in the file without duplicating existing Contacts in your Workspace. (This is what you asked for!)
- Update Existing Contacts Only: Updates existing Contacts without adding new Contacts.
- Add and Update Contacts: Updates existing Contacts identified in the file and adds new Contacts.
- Add All Contacts Despite Duplicates: Adds all Contacts in the CSV file to your Workspace.

Shi Hui: This is not yet complete. Still duplicating contacts as we add them. Merging 1 by 1 is a logistical nightmare for any team.

When you write a massively added contact, the platform does not detect it automatically. He tells me that I have to unify him. Before I could upload a contact and tell him that he belongs to a channel and he would automatically tell me the data

This feature should be unconditional I wont be surprised if there's a competitor out there with this feature already or planning to launch it. I would jump ship in an instance if I find out there's another platform with this feature.
