It would be very interesting if there was a button or function to mark messages as "Unread" like in an email box so that other agents can see that that message box is in fact as "unread"

There should be an 'Unread' along with "All/Pending/Done" in the messages section, so that we can only focus on what's unread. I think this is the natural flow we are used to with native FB inbox platform. Very often the messages are not marked as done by the agent, because it's kind of useless in many situations. The practical thing is when a conversation is started, it actually never ends, people get back after months and start from where they left off.
