Lifecycle: Add Won/Lost stage
complete

Business problem:
When the contact completes their journey in our business, we are not able to determine if the journey is completed or not.
When the contact gets stuck in the last stage of the lifecycle funnel, we don't have any statistics of won/lost contacts. The lifecycle is like a CRM funnel, as there should be an end. The final stage doesn't mean we WON or LOST the contact.
Example -
A contact was added to the lifecycle, so they go through the customer journey and reaches the last stage. When they reach the last stage, we need stats to determine:
- How many contacts were lost in the journey
- How many of them completely passed the lifecycle/journey
Current limitation:
At the moment, we don't know the efficiency of the lifecycle/journey of our contacts. We are not able to measure at all.

This is a good progress!
I notice a few features are missing
- No easy way to access those classified as Lost without setting up a filter I presume
- Cannot reorder Lost Stages
- Cannot move contacts from existing lifecycle stage to the Lost stage.

Jay Lim: Hi Jay! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts with us—we truly value your feedback.
For your first point, we’ve created a feature request and added you as a voter, so you’ll be the first to know about any updates: https://respond.canny.io/admin/feedback/feature-request/p/lifecycle-add-lost-stages-default-inboxes?boards=feature-request
We’d love to learn more about your second point. Could you tell us how reordering Lost Stages would help your business? Understanding your use case will help us shape our roadmap more effectively.
For your third point, you can recreate the stages in the “Lost Stages” column and move your contacts there after deleting the original Lifecycle stage. You can choose to move all existing contacts into the newly created stage so you don’t lose any data. Feel free to check out our documentation for more details: https://help.respond.io/l/en/workspace-settings/workspace-settings-lifecycle#lifecycle_stages
Thanks again for your insights, and please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help!

Wilson Tan Regarding the second point, I think the usefulness is a no-brainer? The existing lifecycle stages can be rearranged but strangely not for the Lost stages.

Jay Lim: In most cases we have reviewed so far, closed lost are end stages in a customer lifecycle rather than a funnel/process.
Once a contact is moved to a closed lost stage it stays there, and there is no desire to push it to any other closed lost stage. From this perspective and order doesn't seem necessary.
It would be awesome if you could provide an example of how you would use Closed Lost stages if they could have an order, and what value that would generate for your company.

It's more about logical arrangement for ease of use.
For example, it would be easier to sort them by order of importance or alphabetically, rather than in a random order that cannot be modified.
