- As a user, I want the option to decide whether an Instagram Story reply opens a new conversation in my inbox, so that I can focus on leads coming from Story replies only during active campaigns.
Desired outcome:
- Control inbox behavior for Story replies
- Filter and prioritize conversations from campaign-specific Stories
- Reduce noise from non-campaign interactions
Use Cases:
- Only open new chats from Story replies during a product launch
- Ignore Story replies outside of active lead-gen campaigns

I’m surprised this feature isn’t already part of the platform or hasn’t been noticed until now.

It is crazy that this has been more than a year and a half waiting. Please, fix this issue. Workflows are hard to set up with this liability and IG 's interactions with histories is a huge percentage of engagement ithere.

Totally agree. In addition, the lack of this functionality completely affects the customer service process, since it depends on whether the account manager is answering part of the conversations on the respond platform and part on Meta. It loses all meaning.
The Latin American market is moved to Instagram and WhatsApp, I don't understand why they don't prioritize those points that should be easy to solve. It has been there since 2022

I fully agree with the proposed solution to integrate Instagram Story Replies into the Respond.io messaging module. This integration will significantly streamline the handling of Instagram engagement, allowing for direct and efficient communication with users who engage with our stories.
