The current integration adds responses to a previous thread.

It would be nice to have an option to start a new thread with the same customer from the Message Module when the subject line is changed.

Good news - it is now possible to change your email subject line. With this, a new thread will be started.

Yes, the Subject Line should be allowed to change so that customer can receive email as new thread. Good to see it is marked as "Planned", and look forward for this to be implemented very soon!
