Broadcast Analytics: Replied/Response statistics
S
Shi Hui
Business Problem:
Our broadcast analytics cover metrics such as Sent, Delivered, Read, and Failed statuses. However, we also need the capability to monitor the number of customers who respond to the broadcasts we send.
Desired Outcome:
To have the broadcast analytics for channels that support "Read" or "Replied" status.

Reports: Improve Broadcast Reporting for High-Volume Broadcasts
Adham Khamis
Business Problem:
Businesses that send a high volume of broadcasts need an efficient way to track broadcast performance on a daily basis. Currently, users may need to rely on manual exports, workarounds, or checking conversations individually to understand how many messages were sent, how many contacts responded, and who responded to each broadcast.
This becomes difficult to manage at scale, especially for teams sending multiple broadcasts per day and needing to report results to management quickly and accurately.
Desired Outcome:
Enable users to easily view and differentiate broadcast performance data, including the number of messages sent and the number of responses received per broadcast, without manual data processing.
This would help teams monitor campaign effectiveness, prepare daily reports faster, and make better decisions based on clear broadcast-level insights.

Export all written responses to a broadcast
Nuria Causadías
When I send a broadcast, I can see metrics of sent, delivered, read and failed, but I don't have an easy way to
extract all the written responses
by contacts to that campaign.I would like to be able to
export in a file (CSV/Excel)
all the answers related to a specific broadcast, including at least:- Contact (name and phone/identifier)
- Channel
- Text of the answer
- Date and time of the message
- Name or ID of the broadcast you are responding to
This would allow us to analyze the content of the answers (for example, from students) and to make statistics, classify answers by topics, keywords, etc., without having to review conversation by conversation or make manual filters from the general export of messages.

Is there any news?

Metric of how many contacts respond to a broadcast
Nuria Causadías
Currently in the Broadcasts report I can only see how many messages were sent, delivered, read or failed. However, I have no visibility of how many contacts
have responded
to that broadcast.I request to add a metric to the Broadcasts report that shows:
- Number of contacts who have responded at least once to that dissemination.
- Percentage of responses about the contacts who received the message and/or about those who read it.
This would help us to better measure the actual effectiveness of each dissemination and compare performance between different campaigns and messages.

Hi Nuria Causadías, we’d love to learn how this feature would make things easier for your team. If possible, could you also share an example of your current workflow?
This would help us better understand your needs and assess the best way to support them.

Alyaa See From the address, they ask me for the data of the number of messages sent and the number of responses to that same broadcast. It's an important decision to continue with Respond.
Every day we send 10/15 broadcasts and I need the data on a daily basis.
We have chosen to make a flow that stores the answers in a word but it is not practical for it to be the usual format. It's too slow

Hi Nuria Causadías we understand this is important to you. In the meantime, you can use Data Export > Messages and select the date range you need. Once you download the Excel file, you’ll be able to see the broadcast message content, date and time, sender ID, and channel ID.
You can read more about this here

Alyaa See but we ship
A lot of broadcasts a day, I need to be able to differentiate and see it easily. On WhatsApp they told me that from statistics - messages - broadcast you could see those received to campaigns at the moment but it's a lie, that information doesn't come out. It's blank.

Alyaa See
Hi Nuria Causadías thanks for flagging this.
Since the Broadcast statistics view is showing blank on your end, please reach out to our Support team so they can investigate this for your workspace.
Nuria Causadías
Alyaa See and I have been told that this option is not enabled
From statistics - messages - broadcast - incoming message
Nuria Causadías
Hello. Do we have any news? I have a meeting with management in 2 hours and I have to tell them if with Respond it will be possible to easily see the number of people who have responded to a broadcast without having to do all the paperwork now that is not feasible. Please I need to know if it's in progress, I have to tell management now.

Hi Nuria Causadías, thank you so much for your patience throughout this thread. Our support team has already reached out to you directly to help get this sorted. Feel free to check your conversations with them and don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything else we can help with.
Closing this for now! 🙏

Alyaa See I don't have an answer yet. I have shown several videos and each time I am being treated by a different person. No one has given me a solution nor do I have messages

See how many people have responded to a broadcast in a simple way
Nuria Causadías
Description
We need a simple way within respond.io to see
how many people have replied to a broadcast
(and, if possible, who), without having to use Workflows or create new tags or segments for each campaign
.Something like:
- A counter of “Responding Contacts”for each broadcast in the Broadcasts report.
- And/or a list of the contacts who responded to that dissemination, accessible from the detail of the dissemination.
The goal is to be able to quickly measure the result of each campaign without having to make advanced configurations or fill the account with tags and segments.

Know people who have responded to diffusion
Nuria Causadías
“I need to be able to generate detailed reports on each dissemination campaign I send, where the impact on the students can be clearly seen: number of contacts who responded, total responses and response rate. Last month I was able to deliver this type of report to management using data from another tool (WATI), but now with respond.io I can't do it because there is no such analysis of 'responses to the campaign'. This functionality is key to justifying our communication actions and demonstrating results to management.”

Quite the reason. The most important thing is answered

Broadcasts clients answered
Nora Bierak
In the Broadcast Analytics, you have the sent, delivered, read and falied but you didn't add the replies ,which is the most important pillar we must track to know the effectiveness of the campaign and the usage of the MAC
N
Nabilah Binti Salleh
Hi Nora Bierak - thank you for your request. To better understand what you’re looking for, could you clarify if you mean that any inbound message after a broadcast to be counted as a reply (even if it might not be referring to that broadcast)?
Nora Bierak
Hi Nabilah Binti Salleh No, I mean any client received the broadcast and replied to it, so the broadcast should contains not only sent, delivered, read and failed, but also the replies on this specific broadcast
