Auto-Sync WhatsApp Message Templates from Meta

Business Problem:
Customers who edit WhatsApp message templates directly on Meta's page (rather than in Respond.io) must manually sync each affected channel in Respond.io before the changes take effect. For customers managing multiple WhatsApp channels, this becomes a repetitive, time-consuming, and error-prone manual process. There is currently no way to sync templates across multiple channels at once, forcing users to repeat the same manual step per channel every time a template is updated on Meta.
Desired Outcome:
- Automatically detect and sync template changes made on Meta without requiring a manual "Sync Templates" action.
- Support bulk/auto-sync across all WhatsApp channels in a workspace, rather than one channel at a time.
- Notify the user when a sync has occurred (or if a sync fails), so they know templates are up to date without checking manually.

I would like to provide feedback regarding the "Sync Templates" button. It is very easy to accidentally click this button.
1.No confirmation step: Once we click "Sync Templates", it syncs immediately based on respond.io's default preference. There is no option to choose which channel to sync to.
2.No "Unsync" option: After syncing, we cannot undo/unsync the templates.
Suggestion:
the
Submit Templates
button as the primary action instead? And for "Sync Templates", please add:
-A confirmation popup before syncing
-An option to select which channel to sync with
-An "Unsync" or rollback option

We'd love to understand your experience a bit better so we can help. Could you share what happened after you clicked "Sync Templates"? For example:
- Did you notice any template statuses change unexpectedly (e.g. a template that was previously approved suddenly showed as paused or rejected)?
- Were any templates added or removed from your list that you weren't expecting?
The reason we ask is that Sync Templates is a read-only refresh — it pulls the latest statuses from Meta for the channel you're viewing, but doesn't create or modify anything. So we want to make sure we understand what went wrong on your end so we can address the right issue. Thanks!
