Business Problem:
AI Copilot can only hold one active chat at a time. When a user starts a new task, they have to give up the current chat, along with its unfinished work and context. A user setting up a Workspace or building an AI Agent can't step away to ask a quick question in a fresh chat and then come back. If they refresh the page or restart the browser, the chat is gone and they have to explain everything again. This hits hardest during multi-step work like onboarding, Workspace setup and AI Agent configuration, where users often need to handle several tasks with different context at once.
Desired Outcome:
Save each user's Copilot chats privately so they can run several chats, switch between them, and pick up any chat where they left off. Ideally, users could:
  • Start a new chat without losing the current one, while Copilot keeps working on the earlier chat in the background
  • Reopen a past chat after a refresh or browser restart, with its full history and context
  • Browse and search their past chats in a Chat History list, sorted by date
  • Rename or delete chats
  • See at a glance which chats have new Copilot replies they haven't read yet
When users juggle more than one task in AI Copilot, they currently have to choose between finishing one task and losing the other, or starting over from scratch.
This could help businesses:
  • Finish multi-step setup and AI Agent work without repeating context
  • Work on several Copilot tasks in parallel instead of one at a time
  • Avoid losing progress to a page refresh or browser restart
  • Get back to earlier answers and work without asking Copilot again
  • Spend less time re-explaining and more time getting work done with Copilot
