Proposed Solution:
A workaround for this can be achieved by adding Tags to the conversation upon closing. In the next stage, a workflow is triggered when the conversation is closed that adds the relevant tag to the Contact. The Contacts can therefore be segmented based on Tags.
Pre-requisite: Closing notes must be added when the conversation closes (so mandatory) and a workflow is triggered:
Workflow trigger is Close Conversation with Trigger Conditions set to Category is equal to Conversation Category.
Then the Contact’s tag can be updated by adding the appropriate Tag that will help identify the Contact.
Based on the tags added by the workflow, the Contacts can be segmented for re-targeting.
