A new Workflow Trigger is available now: Incoming Webhook 🎉
Now, you can create Workflows that can be triggered by events in external applications (CRM, e-commerce, etc) through the new Incoming Webhook Trigger. For instance, updating a contact’s information on Hubspot could trigger a Workflow to update their profile on respond.io

it's working fine, thanks

Hey Support Team we don't have an API available that can manage surveys directly, however you can easily start a survey to a contact using the Contact API + One Automation Rule.
Example, you can add a Tag to a contact using the Contact API, and you can create one automation rule "When Tag is added -> initiate survey".
Hope this helps!

Gerardo Salandra: This is a good method and it worked fine for conversations within 24 hour session (I am using WhatsApp Integration). But if the contact is out of the 24 hour session which means we can only send WhatsApp approved templates, this method wouldn't work for some reason. Is there a way to allow survey to be sent as a WhatsApp template message too?
Edit:
- Other automations works outside the 24 hours session except for the send survey action so I assume it's a bug?
- Btw the survey I set up is the exact same as one of the WhatsApp Templates. I also double checked at Twilio Chat Logs if the send survey event triggered did send a text but it didn't.

Hi GT Business Systems, this would depend on the WhatsApp Partner that you are using, but for most (except twilio), our automation and surveys won't work after 24 hours.
But don't worry, we will soon be working on a new automation workflow that will allow you to send template messages via automations.
