Move to Monthly Active Contact (MAC) Pricing Model

MACs are contacts that have messaged us or received a message from us (excluding broadcasts) over the billing month.
The current pricing is based on Total Contacts. Moving to the MAC pricing model has advantages below:
- No need to worry about the total contacts limit
- No need to pay for unused contacts
- No need to delete contacts and lose their conversation history
- Only pay for contacts we speak to in the month

This means you don’t have to worry about the total contacts limit anymore, plus:
- You won’t pay for the contacts you don’t speak to
- You don’t have to delete contacts and lose their conversation history
- Your pricing will scale with the number of contacts you actually talk to

Hi Cuentas Ecuabots, MAC Pricing Model will be applied for normal users first for now. Resellers are able to stay on Total Contact Limit plan. Do reach out to your CSM to understand more on it! 😃

Shi Hui: Hello, 6 monthas have passed since this was implemented. Any news on when resellers will be able to move to MAC model? Since resellers have unlimited mac i don´t see it so difficult to implement. Obviously i´m not a programmer but doesn´t seem too difficult to link each client´s space with the reseller organisation and switch the total contact limit to mac contact limit. Our clients are complaining on having to pay for contacts that are not interacting with. Thanks guys
